Week 9: All goals almost reached!

Exuberant meeting! Deep discussions and a lot of talking & idea-throwing! We check how the gameplay works: a timer starts running from 00:50 and the character's kick-animation works even as a prototype. Can't wait to see the designer's input.

Week 9: Set some goals

Awesome meeting! We set a timetable for the Character kick-animation, Enemy movement and Timer. These will be done by Friday. Our project leader will create some directional templates for the animations, so it will be easier to create something own over it.

Switched to Unity Collaboration

After several failed attempts and errors we set up Collaboration for 3 people. It works like a charm and is understandable for normal, intelligent humans. Others upload their work to OneDrive. Unprofessionaly developed GitHub is used mainly for code backups. To do: - Animations of all kind - Enemy movement towards the top - Some sounds
Once again awesome meeting behind! Tested a new mountain. Need to do: 1) Mountain top wider to make room for the character and items on both sides. 2) Character and enemy animation 3) Enemy movement towards the top 4) Touch buttons for character movements, on mobile.

Github is working!

After a few trials & errors we finally managed to get a hold of Github. It was a matter of switching the merging brands. Now we get start the project for real. This week we are each prototyping our own scenes. There is now a movable character, a rock and an enemy with properly functioning physics.

Great meeting!

1 designer left, 2 came in return. We gave them a task to do some enemies and characters. One mountain, boulder and stone added to the scene. Unsuccesfully tried to commit, push and merge them with our deeply beloved GitHub. .GitIgnore-file might be the problem. Trying to fix it and forget the weekend relaxation. Can't wait for Monday to see the progress 😀

Monday meeting 1

In a quick session, we just made sure everyone had some work to do for the week. Also we will practise using GitHub so that we don't need to use Unity Collaboration with its limits of 3 users.
